Together with 16 umbrella and membership organizations and the Dutch fundraising regulator CBF, HSC is signatory to a letter to the Minister of Finance in which we request the government to place the nonprofit sector without delay in the low category for terrorism financing risk. Currently the entire sector is falling within the high-risk category which is unjustified. The findings of the second National Risk Assessment on Terrorism Financing give a nuanced picture that allows for the change which will facilitate much needed access to banking and payment service providers.
