HSC's projects in Europe are multi-pronged. We work:
- In The Netherlands with youth, often in partnership with municipalities and social welfare organizations, on building resilience and promoting community cohesion and inclusion
- With various departments of the Dutch government, facilitating programs, discussing development/PVE strategies, discussing financing, and bringing government together with NPOs, banks, regulators and other stakeholders to discuss issues around access to finance for NPOs (bank de-risking).
- In the Balkans, specifically around the FATF processes of Mutual Evaluation and Risk Assessment of the non-profit sector (with partners in Kosovo, Moldova, Council of Europe, Macedonia)
- Regionally, with the European Commission on the Supra-National Risk Assessment on money laundering and terrorism financing for the common market, and its impact on NPOs
